- Matting: Cutting and layering mats to enhance the presentation of the artwork.
- Mounting artwork: Carefully attaching artwork to backing materials like acid-free board using proper mounting techniques.
- Glass cutting: Cutting glass to fit the frame dimensions.
- Final assembly: Securing the artwork, glass, and backing together within the frame with proper fasteners.
- Finishing touches: Adding hanging hardware and packaging the finished framed piece.
- Frame restoration: Repairing and restoring damaged frames when necessary.
- Hand dexterity and precision: Precise cutting and assembly skills with tools like saws, miter boxes, and clamps.
- Attention to detail: Ensuring accurate measurements and proper alignment of artwork within the frame
